Inside the Criminal Mind

Because of my emphasis on choice and accountability, some critics have asserted that I am a hardcore reactionary or, worse, a conservative who demonizes offenders and wants to “lock ’em up and throw away the key.” Others think that I am a dewy-eyed liberal who persists in believing that, with enough therapy, criminals will change and should be free to roam the streets.
